Jay W. Winn, M.D.

Exposure to all types of medicine, while working in a hospital during college, is what sparked Dr. Jay Winn’s interest in attending medical school. He was most fascinated with orthopaedic surgery and decided to pursue it as his medical specialty. After receiving his undergraduate degree in biological sciences at the University of Tennessee – Knoxville in 1999, he enrolled at the UT Health Sciences Center in Memphis, earning his medical degree in 2003.

Dr. Winn’s greatest satisfaction in practicing orthopaedic medicine is being able to see the patient return to an active lifestyle through either operative or conservative treatment of their condition.

In his leisure time, Dr. Winn enjoys travel, golf, skiing, tennis, bike riding and hiking. He is the team physician for Heritage High School.
